Stop by and peer through the window display

our first commemorative poster art. 2003
Local Boerne area artist Tom Ricks designed our first event poster that
truly reflects the spirit of the season
and
the warmth of the Holidays.

Toms forte’ is utilizing a mixed media of watercolors and oils on canvas.
His vision is pure inspiration and this is easily visualized through his artistic interpretations in his work.
Tom also painted one of the large “oleos” that was suspended from the Gazebo
in the heart of Boerne throughout the duration of the 2003 event as well.
The message behind the art… 2004 Poster
The 2004 commemorative event poster was designed and painted by the distinguished Boerne area artist – Dianne Click.

Her forte’ – oils on canvas! This unique piece of original art was designed to capture the “essence”
of the event by paying tribute to the four thematic weekends of cultural programming.

2006 Commemorative Poster Art: By Janet Puduh.
We spent many hours discussing Christmas in the Hill Country one hot Summers day in August. Ideas rushed through our minds as our combined creativity led us to believe that the vision of cedar trees made us think of Christmas trees. And so when we merged cedar trees with our historic architecture and the spirit of Christmas in Boerne we were left with an inspirational sense of commonality.

Proceeds from all sales are divided among the artist, The City of Boerne Parks & Recreation Department
and
the Boerne Merchants Association to foster the growth of this cultural event
for future generations. Bob Caran – Executive Event Director
