A Hill Country Christmas was created to reinforce the

Spirit of the Holiday season for every one of all ages.

It is difficult to verbalize the feeling of the season as relates to each of us,

but suffice to say, that individually, we all share a common

belief that it is truly the greatest time of the year.

Where friends and family gather; where peace on earth and prosperity

 are encouraged and awareness that the world we live in is a very special place.

This event is designed to invite YOU to our humble city to mingle

 amongst our proud residents to savor the SPIRIT of the SEASON

and foster the continued vibrancy of our culture.

 The Hill Country Christmas
is a one month long cultural and heritage event that not only

celebrates the season, but also takes a look back at who

 we are and where we came from, while paying tribute

to the uniqueness of our community and the brilliant

 future that lies ahead for our children.

We have woven together a "special" event where the very fabric

 consists of acclaimed works of art; traditional and not-so-traditional

musical moments, live theater, unique shopping and culinary delights that
are destined to please one and all. And, it is all framed around the

holidays and  a collection of some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.

It is these individuals  who come together to ensure that all of the

 traditions and cultures at the gateway to the Hill Country are preserved.

That has been and will always be my vision.
